Community design resources

  • Are these resources for me? These resources are for anyone looking for easy to understand tools and examples to help guide and support the development and improvement of programs, activities, and events. The resources can be applied to many social problems and opportunities that put people first and involve developing or improving outcomes for members of a community.
  • Who created these resources? The Social Design Team from Australia Post has created these resources, based on their experiences working in and with the community. Learn more about the team here.
  • What is Human-centred design? Human-centred design is a problem solving process that keeps people’s needs at the forefront of what you’re thinking and doing. Read more here. You can also complete an online search to help you find courses and resources developed by other organisations and businesses.
